The role involves developing new business and promoting Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage solutions to customers in Japan's social infrastructure sectors, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets through strategic account management and collaboration with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Promote all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers in Japan's social infrastructure sector.
Build and maintain relationships with customers to achieve high customer satisfaction.
Develop and execute account plans to leverage internal resources and lead project teams for new customer acquisition.
Manage sales pipeline to ensure achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets.
Requirements
At least five years of corporate sales experience, primarily focused on new customer acquisition or business development.
Proven history of consistently exceeding targets and delivering business results strong enough to earn recommendations from customers and partners.
Experience leading complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
Sincerity and passion to engage earnestly with customers primarily in Japan's social infrastructure sectors including electric power, gas, transportation, and construction, and to deeply understand their business challenges.
Ability to apply insight, creativity, and a challenger mindset to propose solutions to customer challenges by leveraging technical knowledge and Pure s product portfolio across a broad territory.
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities, with the capability to build and deepen trusted relationships.
Strategic planning and execution capabilities aimed at maximizing revenue and improving operational efficiency within the assigned territory.
The ability to develop and execute account plans that fully leverage internal resources, lead project teams, and drive the acquisition of new customers.
Experience managing a healthy and robust sales pipeline to ensure achievement of quarterly and annual targets.
Strong commitment to customer success even after contract execution.
Ability to understand and communicate the value of innovative and simple all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers in Japan's social infrastructure sector.
Technical knowledge and industry knowledge relevant to the social infrastructure sectors such as electric power, gas, transportation, and construction companies.
Ability to propose solutions to customer challenges by leveraging technical knowledge and Pure s product portfolio.
Ability to read and understand English using translation tools (preferred, not required).
