Job Description

The role involves selling enterprise storage solutions to customers in the Greater Toronto Area, building strong relationships, leading sales strategies, and managing a pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets in a fast-growing tech company focused on data storage innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate strategy and manage relationships with assigned accounts in the Greater Toronto Area
  • Lead team-selling efforts with internal teams and strategic partners to close sales
  • Evangelize Pure Storage's data storage solutions and communicate their value to customers
  • Build and develop relationships with customers to ensure high satisfaction and drive sales
  • Develop account plans and lead pursuit teams to engage internal resources and secure new customers
  • Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Identify and prospect new customers to expand the customer base
  • Lead complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and foster teamwork
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, consistently delivering revenue goals

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development, consistently delivering 5-10 million CAD in revenues per year.
  • Experience selling into customers in the Greater Toronto Area and currently living in Toronto.
  • Ability to coordinate the overall strategy and relationship between assigned accounts and Pure Storage.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving referenceable business.
  • Experience leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
  • Strong prospecting skills with a demonstrated ability to open doors to new customers and navigate between the boardroom and data center.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, with the ability to build and deepen customer relationships over time.
  • Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
  • Experience evangelizing enterprise storage technology and data solutions, effectively communicating the value proposition to customers.
  • Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources for customer acquisition.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a genuine desire to understand customer business challenges and drive customer success.
  • Thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset to apply customer insights and position Pure’s portfolio as a solution to persistent problems.
  • Expertise in managing and executing a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
