Job Description
The Sales Director at Samsara is responsible for leading and developing an enterprise sales team, driving the adoption of IoT technology solutions across various industries, and achieving sales targets through strategic coaching, collaboration, and customer success focus.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement coaching and development strategies for Account Executives
- Collaborate with executive team to develop performance metrics
- Coordinate with Field Sales Engineers and support teams to meet performance and customer expectations
- Champion and embed company cultural principles
- Focus on customer success and building long-term relationships
- Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, high-performing sales team
Requirements
- Previous experience supervising an enterprise sales team in the US in a management capacity
- Proven track record of ability to train, spearhead and motivate enterprise sales teams
- Solid understanding of SFDC (Salesforce) and accurate forecasting methodology
- Minimum of 8 years of technology sales experience
- At least 5 years of experience managing a team in sales supervision and/or high overachievement as an individual contributor in Enterprise SaaS sales
- Passion in helping Account Executives close large, complex deals
