Job Description

The role involves selling all-flash enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers in Southern California, building strong customer relationships, leading sales strategies, and driving revenue growth through team collaboration and account management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evangelize Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
  • Build and invest in customer relationships to demonstrate Pure's value and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customers
  • Drive and manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
  • Assess customer needs and position solutions to address their business challenges
  • Prospect for new customers and open doors to new business opportunities
  • Manage complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders
  • Collaborate with teammates and strategic partners to close sales

Requirements

  • Experience selling into Commercial customers in Southern California.
  • Currently living in Southern California.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quota and driving referenceable business.
  • Ability to lead a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with Partners.
  • Experience building and investing in customer relationships to establish value and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to build and manage a healthy and robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, to build and deepen customer relationships over time.
  • Experience leading pursuit teams and developing account plans to engage internal resources for customer acquisition.
  • Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
  • Avid hunter with proven prospecting skills, consistently opening doors to new customers and positioning solutions effectively.
  • Expertise in leading a sales process with multiple stakeholders and fostering teamwork internally and with strategic partners.
  • Strong understanding of technology solutions and customer insights to position the company's portfolio effectively.
  • Authenticity and a genuine desire to engage customers and understand their business challenges.
  • Thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset to apply insights and position solutions to solve persistent problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, to build relationships easily and deepen them over time.
  • Physical ability to engage in activities related to sales and customer meetings (implied, as part of typical sales roles).
