Job Description

The role involves building and managing customer relationships, driving full-cycle sales of data storage solutions, and collaborating with partners to deliver outcomes for mid-market organizations in the Stuttgart region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and grow customer relationships across Baden Württemberg for mid-market organizations.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Collaborate with Presales, Channel, and Marketing teams to build pipeline and achieve sales results.
  • Work with channel, GSI, and ecosystem partners to position and sell the Pure Storage platform.
  • Create and execute account strategies and coordinate team selling with partners.
  • Forecast sales accurately and close business on a regular cadence.
  • Develop and present proposals articulating business outcomes and platform value.
  • Manage activities, pipeline, and forecasts using Salesforce.com.
  • Cultivate trust-based relationships with customers and partners to facilitate outcomes-focused conversations.

Requirements

  • Business-fluent German and English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com and common productivity tools.
  • Ability to lead complex sales cycles and partner with multiple stakeholders across IT and the business.
  • Knowledge of storage industry concepts such as SAN, NAS, and modern data solutions; cloud storage literacy is valued.
  • Effective prospecting and partner co-selling skills to build and maintain a robust pipeline and consistently deliver against quota goals.
  • Experience in creating and executing account strategies, coordinating team selling with partners, forecasting accurately, and closing business on a monthly, quarterly, and annual cadence.
  • Strong time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and present compelling proposals that clearly articulate business outcomes and the value of the Pure Storage platform for customer environments predominantly on-premises with cloud storage understanding.
  • Experience cultivating strong, trust-based relationships with customers and partners, becoming a go-to resource for outcomes-focused conversations.
  • Experience managing activities, pipeline, and forecasts with rigor and transparency using Salesforce.com.
