Job Description
The role involves selling Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage solutions to customers in the Greater Seattle Area, building strong relationships, leading sales strategies, and driving revenue growth through new customer acquisition and account management.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate strategy and manage relationships with assigned accounts
- Lead team-selling efforts with internal teams and strategic partners to close sales
- Evangelize Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions
- Build and develop relationships with customers to demonstrate value and ensure satisfaction
- Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources for customer acquisition
- Drive and manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
- Assess customer needs and position solutions to address business challenges
- Identify and prospect new customers to expand the customer base
- Manage complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders
- Achieve revenue targets through new logo acquisition and business development
Requirements
- Experience selling into customers in the Greater Seattle Area.
- Currently residing in Seattle, WA.
- At least 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development.
- Consistently delivering between 5 million and 10 million USD in revenues per year.
- Ability to build and invest in relationships with customers to establish Pure Storage's value and drive customer satisfaction.
- Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources for winning new customers.
- Ability to drive and manage a healthy and robust pipeline of sales activity to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas.
- Ability to evangelize Pure Storage’s all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, to build and deepen customer relationships.
- Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
- Expertise in leading complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving referenceable business.
- Demonstrated passion for post-sales customer success.
- Thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset, with the ability to apply customer insights and technology expertise to position solutions effectively.
