Job Description
The role involves selling enterprise storage solutions to customers in the Greater Seattle Area, building strong relationships, leading sales strategies, and driving revenue growth through new customer acquisition and account management.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate strategy and manage relationships with assigned accounts
- Lead team-selling efforts with internal teams and strategic partners to close sales
- Evangelize Pure Storage's data storage solutions and communicate value to customers
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure high satisfaction
- Develop account plans and lead pursuit teams to secure new customers
- Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
- Assess customer needs and position solutions to address business challenges
- Identify and prospect new customers to expand the customer base
- Lead complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders
- Drive post-sales customer success and ensure ongoing satisfaction
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development, consistently delivering 5-10 million USD per year in revenues.
- Experience selling into customers in the Greater Seattle Area and currently residing in Seattle, WA.
- Ability to coordinate the overall strategy and relationship between assigned accounts and Pure Storage.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving referenceable business.
- Expertise leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
- Ability to build and invest in relationships with customers to establish Pure Storage's value and drive customer satisfaction.
- Strong prospecting skills with a demonstrated ability to open doors to new customers and navigate between the boardroom and data center.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, with the ability to build and deepen customer relationships over time.
- Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
- Experience evangelizing enterprise storage technology and data solutions, and effectively communicating the total value proposition to customers.
- Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources for winning new customers.
- Strong desire to engage customers, understand their business challenges, and apply customer insights and technology expertise to position solutions.
- Passion for post-sales customer success.
