Job Description
The role involves selling all-flash enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers, building strong relationships, leading sales strategies, and exceeding revenue targets through consultative and team-based sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Evangelize Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
- Build and invest in customer relationships to demonstrate Pure's value and ensure high customer satisfaction
- Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customers
- Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
- Assess customer needs and position Pure's solutions to address their business challenges
- Identify and prospect new customers to expand the customer base
- Lead complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and foster teamwork with partners
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development.
- Consistently delivering between 5 million to 10 million USD in revenues per year.
- Experience selling into Commercial customers in Pennsylvania, specifically the Greater Philadelphia Metro area.
- Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to ensure all internal resources are engaged to execute and win new customers.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving referenceable business.
- Expertise leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
- Strong prospecting skills with the ability to open doors to new customers and navigate between the boardroom and data center.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication, with the ability to build and deepen customer relationships over time.
- Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
- Authenticity and a genuine desire to engage customers and understand their business challenges.
- Thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset to apply customer insights and technology solutions to solve persistent problems.
- Ability to evangelize and explain the value proposition of all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers.
- Experience building and investing in customer relationships to drive customer satisfaction.
- Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to make sure all internal resources are engaged to execute and win new customers.
- Experience managing a healthy and robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas.
