The role involves selling all-flash enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers, building strong relationships, leading sales strategies, and exceeding revenue targets through consultative and team-based sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Evangelize Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
Build and maintain relationships with customers to demonstrate Pure's value and ensure high customer satisfaction
Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customers
Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
Assess customer needs and position Pure's solutions to address business challenges
Identify and prospect new customers to expand the customer base
Lead complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and foster teamwork with partners
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development.
Consistently delivering between 5 million to 10 million USD in revenues per year.
Experience selling into Commercial customers in the Central Florida region, specifically the Greater Orlando Area.
Ability to coordinate the overall strategy and relationship management between assigned accounts and the company.
Proven track record of exceeding sales quota and driving referenceable business.
Expertise leading a complex sales process involving multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
Strong prospecting skills with a demonstrated ability to open doors to new customers and navigate between the boardroom and data center environments.
Excellent written and oral interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build and deepen customer relationships.
Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to maximize revenue and efficiency.
Experience leading team-selling efforts with teammates and strategic partners to close business on a quarterly and annual basis.
Ability to develop account plans and lead pursuit teams to ensure all internal resources are engaged to win new customers.
