The role involves selling innovative all-flash enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers, building strong relationships, leading sales strategies, and exceeding sales targets in the Southern California region.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate overall strategy and relationships with assigned accounts
Engage in team-selling efforts with teammates and strategic partners to close business
Build and invest in customer relationships to demonstrate value and ensure satisfaction
Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and win new customers
Drive and manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
Evangelize the company's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions
Assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory for maximum revenue and efficiency
Lead complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership
Requirements
Experience selling into Commercial customers in Southern California, specifically currently living in Orange County.
At least 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development.
Proven track record of consistently delivering between 5 million and 10 million USD in annual revenues.
Ability to lead and coordinate overall sales strategy and relationship management between assigned accounts and the company.
Experience leading team-selling efforts with teammates and strategic partners around the globe to close business on a quarterly and annual basis.
Ability to evangelize and effectively communicate the value proposition of all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers.
Ability to build and invest in customer relationships to establish the company's value and drive customer satisfaction ratings.
Experience leading pursuit teams and developing account plans to engage internal resources for customer acquisition.
Ability to build and manage a healthy and robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, to build and deepen customer relationships over time.
Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to maximize revenue and efficiency.
Expertise in leading complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
Demonstrated success in exceeding sales quotas and driving referenceable business.
Ability to understand customer business challenges and apply customer insights and technology expertise to position solutions effectively.
A genuine desire to engage customers and understand their needs, with authenticity and a Challenger Mindset.
Excellent prospecting skills with a proven ability to open doors to new customers and navigate between the boardroom and data center environments.
