Job Description
An Engineering Manager in Australia responsible for leading the technical strategy, building solutions, and expanding the Resolv platform within the Australian solar energy market, while managing a team and bridging US-based technology with local operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical strategy to internationalize and adapt the Resolv platform for the Australian energy market.
- Build and expand the Australian software engineering team as the business grows.
- Drive the integration and expansion of the Resolv platform within the Australian market.
- Act as the bridge between US-based technology platform and Australian operations.
- Develop solutions to support current business needs and future growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading software engineering teams and managing technical projects, with a focus on building solutions for business needs.
- Experience in building and expanding engineering teams as the business grows.
- Strong technical leadership skills to develop and execute technical strategies, including internationalization of software platforms.
- Ability to act as a bridge between US-based technology platform (Resolv) and Australian operations, ensuring seamless integration.
- Experience in driving the integration and expansion of software platforms within new markets, specifically supporting the unique needs of the Australian energy landscape.
- Experience in developing and implementing technical strategies to support international markets while maintaining core innovations.
- Demonstrated ability to support and adapt software solutions to meet the specific requirements of the Australian energy industry.
- Excellent communication skills to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate between different geographic locations.
- Ability to work remotely and manage teams and projects effectively in a remote environment.
- Experience in the solar or energy storage industries is preferred but not explicitly required; the role focuses on software and technical leadership within these sectors.
