Job Description

The role involves selling enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers in Ohio and Pennsylvania, building strong customer relationships, leading sales strategies, and exceeding sales targets through consultative and team-based approaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evangelize Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
  • Build and invest in customer relationships to demonstrate Pure's value and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customers
  • Drive and manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas

Requirements

  • Experience selling into Commercial customers in Ohio and Pennsylvania, with a focus on the Greater Columbus, Cleveland, or Pittsburgh Metro areas.
  • Currently living in or willing to work in the Greater Columbus, Cleveland, or Pittsburgh Metro areas.
  • At least 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development.
  • Consistently delivering between 5 million and 10 million USD in revenues per year.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quota and driving referenceable business.
  • Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and win new customers.
  • Ability to build and invest in customer relationships to establish value and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Experience evangelizing enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers.
  • Ability to build a healthy and robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
  • Expertise in leading complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build and deepen relationships with customers.
  • Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
  • Strong prospecting skills with a demonstrated ability to open doors to new customers and navigate between the boardroom and data center.
  • Customer insights and technology solutions expertise to position Pure Storage’s portfolio effectively.
  • Authenticity and a genuine desire to engage customers and understand their business challenges.
  • Thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset in sales approach.
