Job Description
The role involves selling enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers in Ohio and Pennsylvania, building strong customer relationships, leading sales strategies, and exceeding sales targets through consultative and team-based selling approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Evangelize Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
- Build and invest in customer relationships to demonstrate Pure's value and ensure high customer satisfaction
- Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customers
- Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
- Assess customer needs, develop strategies, and actively manage sales processes with multiple stakeholders
- Drive new business development by prospecting and opening doors to new customers
- Collaborate with teammates and strategic partners to coordinate team-selling efforts and close deals
Requirements
- Experience selling into Commercial customers in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
- Currently living in or willing to relocate to the Greater Columbus, Cleveland, or Pittsburgh Metro areas.
- At least 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development.
- Proven track record of consistently delivering between 5 million and 10 million USD in revenues per year.
- Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and win new customers.
- Ability to build and invest in relationships with customers to establish value and drive customer satisfaction.
- Experience building and managing a healthy and robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas.
- Expertise leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
- Excellent written and oral interpersonal communication skills, able to build and deepen relationships over time.
- Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
- Strong prospecting skills with a proven ability to open doors to new customers and navigate between the boardroom and data center.
- Experience evangelizing enterprise storage technology and data solutions, ensuring customers understand the value proposition.
- Demonstrated ability to apply customer insights and technology expertise to position solutions effectively.
- Passion for post-sales customer success.
