Job Description

The role involves selling all-flash enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers, building strong relationships, leading sales strategies, and exceeding revenue targets through consultative and team-based sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evangelize Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to demonstrate Pure's value and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customers
  • Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Assess customer needs and position Pure's solutions to address their business challenges
  • Identify and prospect new customers to expand the customer base
  • Navigate complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders
  • Drive post-sales customer success and ensure ongoing customer engagement

Requirements

  • Experience selling into Commercial customers in Indiana and Kentucky, with a focus on the Indianapolis Metro Area
  • Currently living in the Indianapolis Metro Area
  • At least 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development
  • Consistently delivering between 5 million and 10 million USD in revenues per year
  • Ability to build and invest in relationships with customers to establish Pure Storage's value and drive customer satisfaction
  • Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources for customer acquisition
  • Ability to build and manage a healthy and robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Proven prospecting skills with an avid hunter mentality, consistently opening doors to new customers
  • Experience leading a complex sales process involving multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, to build and deepen customer relationships
  • Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to maximize revenue and efficiency
  • Experience evangelizing enterprise storage technology and data solutions, effectively communicating the value proposition
  • Track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving referenceable business
  • Demonstrated passion for post-sales customer success

Annual base salary range of $111,500 to $167,500 USD
