Job Description
The role involves selling all-flash enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers, building strong relationships, leading sales strategies, and exceeding revenue targets through consultative and team-based sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Evangelize Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to demonstrate Pure's value and ensure high customer satisfaction
- Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customers
- Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
- Assess customer needs and position Pure's solutions to address their business challenges
- Identify and prospect new customers to expand the customer base
- Navigate complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders
- Drive post-sales customer success and ensure ongoing customer engagement
Requirements
- Experience selling into Commercial customers in Indiana and Kentucky, with a focus on the Indianapolis Metro Area
- Currently living in the Indianapolis Metro Area
- At least 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development
- Consistently delivering between 5 million and 10 million USD in revenues per year
- Ability to build and invest in relationships with customers to establish Pure Storage's value and drive customer satisfaction
- Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources for customer acquisition
- Ability to build and manage a healthy and robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
- Proven prospecting skills with an avid hunter mentality, consistently opening doors to new customers
- Experience leading a complex sales process involving multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, to build and deepen customer relationships
- Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to maximize revenue and efficiency
- Experience evangelizing enterprise storage technology and data solutions, effectively communicating the value proposition
- Track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving referenceable business
- Demonstrated passion for post-sales customer success
