Job Description
The role involves selling all-flash enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers in Indiana and Kentucky, building strong customer relationships, leading sales strategies, and exceeding revenue targets through consultative and team-based sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Evangelize and demonstrate the value of Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure high satisfaction and promote Pure's value proposition
- Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customers
- Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
- Assess customer needs and position solutions to address their business challenges
- Identify and prospect new customers to expand the customer base
- Navigate complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and foster teamwork with internal teams and partners
- Drive post-sales customer success to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention
Requirements
- Experience selling into Commercial customers in Indiana and Kentucky.
- Currently living in Indiana or Kentucky.
- Ability to coordinate overall strategy and relationship management between assigned accounts and Pure Storage.
- Experience leading team-selling efforts with teammates and strategic partners to close business on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quota and driving referenceable business.
- Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development.
- Ability to build and invest in customer relationships to establish value and drive customer satisfaction.
- Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources for business success.
- Ability to build and manage a healthy and robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Strong prospecting skills with a proven ability to open doors to new customers and navigate between the boardroom and data center.
- Excellent written and oral interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build and deepen relationships over time.
- Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to maximize revenue and efficiency.
- Experience leading complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.

Annual base salary range of 108,500 - 163,000 USD
