Job Description

The role involves selling all-flash enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers in Indiana and Kentucky, building strong customer relationships, leading sales strategies, and exceeding revenue targets through consultative and team-based sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evangelize and demonstrate the value of Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
  • Build and develop relationships with customers to ensure high satisfaction and establish Pure's value proposition
  • Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customers
  • Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Assess customer needs and position solutions to address their business challenges
  • Identify and prospect new customers to expand the customer base
  • Navigate complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and foster teamwork with internal teams and partners
  • Drive post-sales customer success to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention

Requirements

  • Experience selling into Commercial customers in Indiana and Kentucky.
  • Currently residing in Indiana or Kentucky.
  • At least 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development.
  • Consistently delivering between 5 million and 10 million USD in revenues per year.
  • Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and win new customers.
  • Ability to build and invest in customer relationships to establish value and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Proven prospecting skills with an aptitude for opening new customer doors and navigating between the boardroom and data center.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, to build and deepen customer relationships.
  • Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to maximize revenue and efficiency.
  • Expertise in leading complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
  • Track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving referenceable business.
  • Ability to evangelize all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions, ensuring customers understand the total value proposition.
  • Strong desire to engage customers and understand their business challenges with authenticity.
  • Thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset to apply customer insights and position solutions effectively.
  • Ability to lead team-selling efforts with teammates and strategic partners to close business on a quarterly and annual basis.
