Job Description

The role involves selling enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers, building strong relationships, leading sales strategies, and managing a pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets, with a focus on customer success and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evangelize Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
  • Build and invest in relationships with customers to demonstrate Pure's value and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customers
  • Drive and manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
  • Assess customer needs, develop strategies, and actively manage sales processes with multiple stakeholders

Requirements

  • Experience selling into Commercial customers in Dallas, Texas.
  • Currently living in the Greater Dallas Metro area.
  • Five (5) or more years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development.
  • Consistently delivering between 5 million and 10 million USD in revenue per year.
  • Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and win new customers.
  • Ability to build and invest in relationships with customers to establish value and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Proven prospecting skills with an avid hunter mentality, consistently opening doors to new customers.
  • Experience leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
  • Track record of exceeding sales quota and driving referenceable business.
  • Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
  • Excellent written and oral interpersonal communication skills, able to build and deepen relationships over time.
  • Ability to evangelize and explain all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers.
  • Experience in developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas.
  • Demonstrated passion for post-sales customer success.
