The role involves selling and promoting Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage solutions to customers in Alberta and British Columbia, building strong relationships, leading sales strategies, and exceeding revenue targets through consultative and team-based sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate strategy and manage relationships with assigned accounts
Lead team-selling efforts with internal teams and strategic partners to close sales
Evangelize and demonstrate the value of Pure Storage's data storage solutions to customers
Build and develop customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction and drive sales
Develop account plans and lead pursuit teams to engage internal resources for customer acquisition
Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
Prospect and open new customer opportunities through effective outreach
Assess customer needs and position solutions to address business challenges
Lead complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and foster teamwork
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development, consistently delivering 5-10 million CAD in revenues per year.
Experience selling into customers in the Alberta and British Columbia regions, specifically in Calgary or Vancouver.
Ability to coordinate the overall strategy and relationship between assigned accounts and Pure Storage.
Experience leading team-selling efforts with teammates and strategic partners around the globe to close business on a quarterly and annual basis.
Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving referenceable business.
Ability to build and invest in relationships with customers to establish Pure Storage's value and drive high customer satisfaction ratings.
Experience leading pursuit teams and developing account plans to ensure all internal resources are engaged to execute and win new customers.
Ability to drive and manage a healthy and robust sales pipeline in Alberta and British Columbia to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas.
Strong prospecting skills with a demonstrated ability to open doors to new customers and navigate between the boardroom and the data center.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, with the ability to build and deepen relationships over time.
Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
Expertise in leading complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
Ability to evangelize and communicate the value proposition of all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers.
Demonstrated thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset, with the ability to apply customer insights and technology solutions to solve persistent problems.
