Key Responsibilities
Evangelize Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
Build and invest in customer relationships to demonstrate Pure's value and ensure high customer satisfaction
Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customers
Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
Assess customer needs and position Pure's portfolio to solve their business challenges
Identify and prospect new customers to expand the customer base
Lead complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and foster teamwork
Drive post-sales customer success to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention
Requirements
8 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development, consistently delivering 5-10 million USD per year in revenues
Experience selling into Commercial customers in Ohio and Pennsylvania
Currently living in or willing to relocate to the Greater Boston Metro area
Ability to coordinate the overall strategy and relationship between assigned accounts and Pure Storage
Experience leading pursuit teams and developing account plans to engage internal resources to execute and win new customers
Ability to build and invest in relationships with customers to establish value and drive customer satisfaction ratings
Proven track record of exceeding sales quota and driving referenceable business
Experience building and managing a healthy and robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
Expertise leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners
Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication, able to build and deepen relationships over time
Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency
Demonstrated prospecting skills with a proven ability to open doors to new customers and position solutions effectively
Ability to evangelize and explain complex technology solutions, including all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions
Thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset to apply customer insights and technology expertise in positioning solutions
Physical ability to navigate between the boardroom and data center as required for sales activities
