Job Description

The role involves selling all-flash enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers in Northern California, building strong customer relationships, leading sales strategies, and exceeding sales targets through prospecting and complex sales processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate strategy and build relationships with assigned accounts
  • Lead team-selling efforts with internal teams and strategic partners
  • Develop account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customers
  • Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
  • evangelize Pure Storage's data storage solutions and value proposition to customers
  • Build and deepen customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction
  • Identify and prospect new customers to expand the customer base
  • Lead complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders

Requirements

  • Experience selling into Commercial customers in Northern California, specifically the Bay Area.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quota and driving referenceable business.
  • Experience leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with Partners.
  • Avid hunter with proven prospecting skills, consistently opening doors to new customers and navigating seamlessly between the boardroom and the data center while passionately positioning the advantages of a Pure Storage solution.
  • Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication, able to build relationships easily and deepen them over time.
  • Experience building and investing in customer relationships to establish value and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources to execute and win new customers.
  • Experience building and managing a healthy and robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas.
  • Experience evangelizing enterprise storage technology and data solutions, ensuring customers fully grasp the total value proposition.
  • Ability to apply customer insights and expertise in technology solutions to position the company's portfolio to solve persistent problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with strategic partners.
  • Physical ability to navigate between the boardroom and data center environments as needed.
  • Willingness to work in a role focused on hunting whitespace accounts, with a focus on new customer acquisition.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States (implied by the location and job scope).
