The role involves selling Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers in Northern California, building relationships, developing account strategies, and driving sales growth through prospecting and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate overall strategy and manage relationships with assigned accounts
Lead team-selling efforts with internal teams and strategic partners to close sales
Evangelize Pure Storage's data storage technology and solutions to customers
Build and develop customer relationships to maximize customer satisfaction
Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customers
Drive and manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
Assess customer needs and position solutions to address business challenges
Prospect and open doors to new customers, navigating between executive and technical stakeholders
Manage complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and foster teamwork
Requirements
Experience selling into Commercial customers in Northern California, with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving referenceable business.
Currently residing in or actively working in the Bay Area.
Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and win new customers.
Ability to build and invest in customer relationships to establish value and drive customer satisfaction.
Experience building and managing a healthy and robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
Proven prospecting skills with the ability to open doors to new customers and navigate between the boardroom and the data center.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, to build and deepen customer relationships over time.
Experience leading a complex sales process involving multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
Ability to evangelize and explain all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions, ensuring customers understand the total value proposition.
Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
Adept at applying customer insights and technology expertise to position the company's portfolio as a solution to persistent business challenges.
