Job Description

This role involves leading sales efforts to promote pure all-flash enterprise storage solutions and data services within Japan, building strong customer relationships, understanding client needs, and achieving sales targets through strategic account management and business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and expand pure storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions within Japan.
  • Build and maintain relationships with domestic customers to enhance understanding of pure storage's value proposition.
  • Lead a team to achieve sales targets by developing account plans and utilizing internal resources to acquire new customers.
  • Drive and manage a healthy sales pipeline to ensure quarterly and annual quota attainment or surpassing goals.
  • Engage with telecommunications service providers' customers to understand their business challenges and provide tailored solutions.
  • Leverage customer insights and technology expertise to address ongoing challenges using pure storage's portfolio.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and opening doors to new clients.
  • Communicate effectively in written and verbal forms to build and deepen long-term customer relationships.
  • Manage territory actively through planning, evaluation, and account management to maximize revenue and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partners, leading complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Achieve consistent sales performance by acquiring new logos and driving business development initiatives.
  • Ensure customer success post-sale by providing ongoing support and value realization.

Requirements

  • 日本国内の通信接続業者の顧客へのエンゲージメントに対する心からの意欲があり、その顧客のビジネス上の課題を理解していること
  • アカウントセールスとしてNTTグループを担当した経験が3年以上あること
  • ソートリーダーシップ、創造性、および挑戦者のマインドセットがあること
  • 顧客インサイトとテクノロジーソリューションの専門知識を活用し、ピュアのポートフォリオを活用して持続的な課題を解決する能力
  • 確かなプロスペクティングスキルを持つ熱心なハンターであり、常に新規顧客の扉を開き、ピュアストレージのソリューションの利点を情熱的に訴求しながら役員室とデータセンターの間をシームレスに行き来できること
  • 書面および口頭でのコミュニケーションを含む優れた対人スキルを有し、関係を容易に構築し長期的に深めることができること
  • 最大限の収益と効率を達成するために評価、計画、アカウントプランニングを行い、テリトリーを積極的に管理する能力
  • 社内およびパートナーとのチームワークとオーナーシップの共有を促進しながら複数のステークホルダーとの複雑な営業プロセスをリードする専門知識
  • ノルマを達成し、参照可能なビジネスを推進した一貫した実績
  • 販売後のカスタマーサクセスに熱心であること
  • 最低5年以上のアウトサイドセールス経験
  • 新規ロゴの獲得またはビジネス開発に重点を置いていること
  • 日本語と英語の両方のコミュニケーションスキル
