Job Description

The role involves developing new business and promoting innovative all-flash enterprise storage solutions within the BFSI sector, building strong customer relationships, collaborating with partners, and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business and secure new customers in the BFSI enterprise sector
  • Collaborate with Sales, Pre-sales, Partner sales, and Field Marketing teams to drive sales success
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high satisfaction
  • Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to achieve sales targets
  • Manage sales pipeline to meet or exceed quotas
  • Work with channel, GSI, and ecosystem partners to position products and develop strategies
  • Develop and execute account strategies to close deals consistently
  • Present proposals and communicate the benefits of Pure Storage solutions

Requirements

  • 8 years of field sales experience in the BFSI Enterprise Storage segment in Mumbai, India.
  • Proven success in exceeding sales quotas and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
  • Experience in selling and developing new business with channel, GSI, and ecosystem partners.
  • Advanced prospecting skills required for engaging new customers.
  • Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in English.
  • Strong drive for sales and relationship building, with a goal-oriented attitude and desire to drive change.
  • Ability to develop and implement account strategies to close deals consistently.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers to ensure high satisfaction.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Pre-sales, Partner sales, and Field Marketing teams.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing and Data Centre Architecture.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
