Job Description
The IT Support Working Student at Planet provides essential technical assistance to employees, manages device lifecycle processes, maintains office IT infrastructure, and supports onboarding and offboarding activities across Europe and Asia, gaining practical experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of company hardware, including unboxing, tagging, and setting up devices using MDM tools.
- Provide first-line support to employees by troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Maintain office videoconferencing systems, ensuring they are tested and ready for use.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes by preparing IT resources and collecting equipment.
- Contribute to IT documentation and internal wikis to improve team efficiency.
- Collaborate with the global IT team to deliver support across EMEA and APAC regions.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
- Ability to work well as part of a team with a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to provide friendly, approachable support to users.
- Basic experience or a solid interest in supporting Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with or an eagerness to learn tools like Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Atlassian Jira Confluence.
- Comfort working with hardware and an interest in maintaining videoconferencing solutions Polycom, Zoom Rooms.
- Interest in leveraging AI tools to troubleshoot issues faster, draft documentation, or improve internal IT workflows.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English, the language of the company.
