Job Description
The role involves leading the development, launch, and growth of an AI-driven geospatial product, focusing on solving critical customer problems in remote sensing and Earth observation, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product strategy, development, and growth of the AI Geospatial Assistant from concept to launch
- Manage customer-driven product development, working closely with designers and user researchers
- Focus on solving critical customer problems in forensics and large-scale daily change use cases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including executives, engineering, design, and technical leads
- Oversee the product launch process, including beta testing and achieving general availability
- Translate technical concepts into business value for stakeholders and customers
Requirements
- 10 years of product management experience, ideally in Earth Observation or geospatial domain, with a passion for bringing cutting edge concepts to life.
- Zero-to-one experience in product management, including excellent product management skills honed to bring strategic concepts to reality, build, test, launch, and iterate with velocity.
- Knowledgeable about the latest in AI innovation, embeddings, and MCP especially at the intersection of these technologies and data challenges of remote sensing.
- Obsession for understanding customer needs, what they value, and the problems they are setting out to solve.
- Expertise in internal and external stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Superb analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-informed decision-making approach.
- Experience launching early stage products that deliver results.
