Job Description
The AI Engineer will design, develop, and implement AI-driven systems to enhance marketing workflows, campaign performance, and customer engagement, collaborating across multiple teams to integrate emerging AI technologies and optimize go-to-market strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, architect, and implement AI strategies across marketing workflows.
- Identify opportunities to integrate AI into campaign development, content production, analytics, and operations.
- Build and support an AI-first GTM engine for customer segmentation, engagement, and conversion.
- Develop AI-driven data analytics and reporting systems for funnel performance and revenue attribution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply AI to campaign planning, audience targeting, and structured messaging.
- Integrate new AI tools and automated outreach sequences into CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and vendors to enhance the GTM technology stack.
- Create internal frameworks and playbooks for AI tool adoption and best practices.
- Support AI-driven experimentation in creative testing, messaging, and landing page optimization.
- Train marketing teams on AI capabilities, usage, and responsible AI practices.
- Monitor and report on the impact of AI initiatives on campaign velocity, efficiency, and pipeline growth.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, data analytics, or automation engineering with a minimum of 1 year building production-grade AI systems.
- Hands-on experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source models, including prompt design, evaluation, and iteration.
- Experience building agentic workflows that take actions, including tool use, chaining, and structured outputs, not just generating text.
- Demonstrated ability to design and build complex operational systems from scratch that support marketing, sales, or revenue teams.
- Experience working in marketing technology platforms such as CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo), and data enrichment platforms.
- Experience implementing artificial intelligence tools including generative AI, workflow orchestration tools, and AI-powered analytics platforms.
- Experience improving marketing workflows through automation, process design, or technical system implementation.
- Ability to translate technical capabilities into practical marketing applications and automated engagement sequences that support business goals.
- Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, operations, product, corporate engineering, and data teams.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to interpret market data and customer signals to evaluate the impact of marketing initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to help teams adopt new tools and processes.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where systems and processes are being built for the first time.

Salary Range: $112,900 - $141,100 USD (National), $128,400 - $160,500 USD (San Francisco)
