Job Description
Support the development, validation, and improvement of FPGA-based designs for satellite imaging systems, collaborating with a multidisciplinary engineering team to ensure hardware performance and reliability for space operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support FPGA-based designs for satellite imaging operations
- Collaborate with engineers to validate and debug new hardware boards
- Develop and improve FPGA build tools and testing infrastructure
- Work with manufacturing test engineers to create production testing flows
- Implement FPGA modules under senior engineers' guidance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar with 2 years of experience.
- Experience with writing SystemVerilog for RTL design and verification.
- Familiarity with scripting and programming in Python, C, and shell.
- Familiarity with version control systems e.g., git.
- Familiarity with lab-based debugging of electrical systems e.g., logic analyzers, oscilloscopes.
- Experience with FPGA design tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Vitis, and Versal (preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience in validating hardware-software interfaces.
- Experience testing high-speed serial protocols including PCIe NVMe, MIPI, CameraLink, JESD204B, etc.
- This position requires access to export-controlled information, and employment or hiring of a contractor is contingent upon the candidate's ability to access all applicable export-controlled information without additional export licensing being required by the Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.

Salary range: $114,200 - $147,200 USD (based on location and experience)
