The Architect will lead the design, coordination, and technical development of architectural projects, ensuring compliance with standards and integrating sustainable strategies, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring less experienced staff.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design, production, coordination, and architectural detailing within a multidisciplinary team
Coordinate engineering systems with engineers and consultants
Prepare design sketches of site plans
Communicate project status, design intent, and construction updates to stakeholders
Participate in business development activities and support marketing efforts
Perform field site observations and visits
Integrate performance-based and sustainable design strategies into projects
Implement project delivery processes using established methods, standards, and tools
Mentor and guide less experienced team members and interns
Ensure technical quality and compliance through QA/QC processes and statutory requirements
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor degree in a relevant field required.
Minimum 8 years of related professional experience required.
Current Architectural Registration in the United States required.
Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
Must possess business acumen.
Must be a critical thinker.
Must be highly analytical.
Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
