Job Description
The Strategic Account Manager for Global Electronic OEMs is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key accounts, developing strategic plans to grow revenue and profitability, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver solutions and expand the company's presence in assigned markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with senior management and decision-makers within assigned accounts.
- Develop and implement strategic roadmaps and business plans to drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Identify and pursue new growth opportunities for products and solutions within assigned accounts.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver on tactical business plans and monitor performance against goals.
- Lead and organize business reviews, analyze competitive activity, and recommend areas for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding account strategies, negotiations, and opportunities.
- Utilize CRM tools for customer planning, reporting, and opportunity tracking.
- Represent the company at industry associations, distributor, and customer events.
- Demonstrate technical knowledge of products and solutions to support account development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or another relevant discipline.
- 8 years of relevant professional-level work experience preferred, including but not limited to Technical Sales, Account Management, and or Business Development.
- Ability to influence executive-level stakeholders at a global level and build mutually beneficial customer relationships.
- Proficiency with common customer success and customer relationship management software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex information and deliver data-driven recommendations.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Adept in the utilization of technology to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Demonstrated competence in establishing and leading cross-functional teams.
- Must be able to travel via airplane, domestically and internationally.
- Must have a valid passport.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate an automobile for up to six hours at a time.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs (samples, demos, literature).
- Must be able to travel overnight 35-50% of the time.
- Must comply with company dress code guidelines.
- Punctuality in all aspects is required.
