The Vice President of Creative Brand Marketing will lead the development and execution of creative strategies to build and elevate the Pendulum brand across various channels, translating brand and product stories into compelling campaigns and digital experiences to drive awareness and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Define, elevate, and express the Pendulum brand across all touchpoints.
Translate brand strategy and product story into high-performing creative campaigns, advertising, and digital experiences.
Own the development of breakthrough storytelling and campaigns in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Manage the creation of assets from ideation to completion, utilizing modern creative tools and workflows.
Build and evolve a cohesive, differentiated brand narrative to drive awareness and growth.
Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure brand consistency and effectiveness.
Requirements
Experience in developing and translating brand strategy and product story into high-performing creative assets for campaigns, advertising, product storytelling, and digital experiences.
Fluency in modern creative tools and workflows including Photoshop, Figma, video editing, motion graphics, UX design, and cutting-edge AI creative tools.
Deep experience in direct-to-consumer marketing and understanding of what motivates consumers to engage, purchase, and stay loyal.
Ability to take a project from ideation to finished assets, demonstrating a hybrid of conceptual, strategic, big-idea thinking and hands-on execution.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic, early-stage environment.
Proven resourcefulness and ability to produce work that meets world-class creative standards while being resourceful and scrappy.
Experience as a brand builder, storyteller, and campaign creator, with a track record of building a brand into a recognized name.
Strong point of view and the craft skills necessary to bring that point of view to life through creative assets.
Excitement and familiarity with the possibilities unlocked by AI and new creative technologies.
Ability to work closely with executive leadership including the Chief Growth Officer, Chief Brand Officer, and cross-functional teams to develop and evolve brand narratives and campaigns.
Willingness to travel to San Francisco approximately once per quarter for key meetings, shoots, strategy sessions, or team collaboration.
