Job Description

A sales management role focused on developing and expanding onsite solar PPA solutions for corporate clients in Japan, involving business development, contract negotiations, and project coordination to promote renewable energy adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and exceed sales targets for onsite solar PPA services by cultivating new customer relationships.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and contracting of onsite PPAs with corporate clients.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate project viability.
  • Prepare commercial offers demonstrating energy cost savings aligned with customer needs.
  • Collaborate with engineering, installation, and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Manage multiple sales projects simultaneously, maintaining progress and providing reports.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies targeting high-energy consumption sectors.
  • Identify and prioritize facility-specific opportunities based on energy usage and regulatory factors.
  • Build strategic partnerships with real estate developers, facility managers, and industry associations.
  • Support outreach campaigns through industry events and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

  • University degree or higher in any field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience selling intangible solutions and closing numerous commercial contract deals.
  • At least 1 year of experience related to renewable energy sales.
  • High self-motivation and excellent leadership abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and strong problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • A strong customer-oriented approach and a collaborative teamwork spirit.
  • Business level skills in both speaking and writing in Japanese.
  • Proficient level skills in both speaking and writing in English.
