Job Description
The Relationship Manager at Palmetto is responsible for supporting and managing partner relationships related to the company's financial products in the renewable energy sector, ensuring smooth transaction processes, providing training, and fostering collaboration with installers and stakeholders to drive partner success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage support and processing of Palmetto's financial products for stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain communication and relationships with Certified Installer partners.
- Provide coaching, training, and support to sales reps on LightReach products and portal usage.
- Visit partners onsite to build trust and strengthen relationships.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve friction points related to milestones, platform functionality, or product knowledge.
- Evaluate and improve external partner resources and internal processes.
- Deliver in-person sales training on LightReach processes and competitive positioning.
- Support partner resolutions and escalations through customer support channels.
- Participate in strategic planning and forecasting activities with EPC partners.
- Maintain knowledge of third-party proposal platforms integrated with LightReach.
Requirements
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a customer, tech, or sales support role
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a sales-partner-facing role
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent educational qualification
- Experience with interpreting data reports to streamline workflows (preferred)
- Willingness to travel in the region up to 50%
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Customer service mindset
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Ability to ruthlessly identify issues and prioritize the highest ROI (Return on Investment)
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners through regular communication and onsite visits
- Experience in supporting and resolving escalations via platforms like Intercom
- Knowledge of the solar industry, construction industry, or related fields (preferred)
- Spanish language skills (preferred)
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check
