Job Description
The Account Operations Specialist will manage customer accounts and support partner accounting inquiries to ensure accurate financial processing, while collaborating with various teams to improve operational efficiency within a clean tech company's renewable energy division.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and track aging customer accounts to ensure timely resolution
- Analyze aging reports to identify trends or discrepancies
- Collaborate with accounting, finance, sales, and customer success teams to address overdue accounts
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce outstanding account timelines
- Prepare reports and updates on pipeline status for senior management
- Support partner accounting inquiries by investigating discrepancies and resolving issues
- Assist partners with understanding financial statements, billing, and payment processes
- Maintain accurate documentation of partner interactions and resolutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years of experience in account operations, financial management, or a similar role
- Proficiency in Excel, data analysis tools, and/or financial reporting systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
