The Account Operations Specialist supports extension request processing, queue management, and partner accounting inquiries within a clean tech company's financial and partner management systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Process and validate extension requests according to SOPs and escalation guidelines
Manage queues and update extension statuses in system tools
Support partner accounting inquiries by investigating discrepancies and resolving issues
Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial workflows and partner experience
Maintain accurate documentation of partner interactions and resolutions
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
2 years of experience in account operations, financial management, or a similar role
Proficiency in Excel, and data analysis tools and or financial reporting systems
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
Ability to support extension request processing, including validating documentation completeness and compliance with extension criteria, categorizing extension reasons, updating extension status and decisions in system tools, and maintaining SLA compliance for extension review and response timelines
Ability to support partner accounting inquiries by investigating and resolving discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and account reconciliations, assisting partners with understanding financial statements, billing issues, and payment processes, and maintaining accurate documentation of partner interactions and resolutions
Ability to operate within established SOPs and escalation guidelines, including supporting system updates, queue management, and utility status review
