Job Description
The Account Operations Specialist is responsible for managing customer accounts, resolving financial discrepancies, and supporting partner accounting inquiries to ensure efficient financial processes within a clean energy company focused on renewable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage LightReach Installers pipeline and monitor aging customer accounts to ensure timely resolution
- Analyze aging reports to identify trends or discrepancies and develop strategies to reduce outstanding timelines
- Collaborate with internal teams to address overdue accounts and improve operational efficiency
- Serve as the primary contact for partner accounting inquiries, resolving discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and reconciliations
- Assist partners with understanding financial statements, billing issues, and payment processes
- Prepare reports and updates for senior management on pipeline status and partner account health
- Drive recommendations on partner offboarding and sales shutoff for problematic partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of experience in account operations, financial management, or a similar role
- Proficiency in Excel, and data analysis tools and/or financial reporting systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
