Job Description
The Service Operations Project Coordinator manages customer support and operational logistics for ongoing solar system services, coordinating troubleshooting, scheduling repairs, and ensuring high customer service standards throughout the system's lifespan.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer and operational logistics for ongoing solar system services and support over a 25-year lifespan
- Assist customers, B2B partners, and support teams in resolving post-installation service cases
- Investigate elevated support tickets to confirm issues and identify solutions
- Prioritize troubleshooting, perform diagnostics, and utilize remote monitoring tools
- Schedule service appointments with Build Partners or internal technicians and communicate effectively with customers
- Determine scope of work, build quotes, and approve invoices for service activities
- Ensure customer service levels meet or exceed company standards and SLAs
- Manage queues, reports, and cases within CRM platforms
- Coordinate resource management and communicate with regional operations managers
- Escalate delayed or stuck jobs and collaborate across departments to resolve conflicts
- Conduct business reviews with partners and internal teams to improve service quality
- Perform root-cause analysis of service cases and provide relevant reports
- Suggest process improvements and participate in projects as a subject matter expert
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer, tech, or sales support role preferred.
- Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) preferred.
- A high degree of proactiveness, adaptability, and resourcefulness to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Customer service mindset.
- Problem solver with attention to detail.
- Strong enterprise software skills including G Suite, Salesforce, and Zendesk.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of the construction or solar industry is preferred.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
