Job Description
The Quality Program Manager oversees the standardization and continuous improvement of high-quality, code-compliant residential solar and storage installations, focusing on process optimization, technical training, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure asset performance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Standardize deployment of high-quality, code-compliant residential solar and storage installations.
- Develop training materials and lead programmatic initiatives to ensure operational excellence.
- Create and maintain standards documentation, policies, and SOPs for project approval requirements.
- Evolve quality standards based on new products, programs, and asset performance data.
- Develop performance benchmarks and feedback loops to improve approval success rates.
- Partner with technology teams to improve platform throughput and reduce friction.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, implement, and refine programs and standards.
- Assess and incorporate new equipment into the company's ecosystem in partnership with OEMs and other teams.
- Provide technical expertise and project feedback to external partners and support onboarding.
- Identify partners needing additional support and develop methods for technical assistance.
- Maintain and expand the EPC Knowledge Base for partner self-service resources.
- Monitor approval and rejection queues, analyze trends, and guide process improvements.
- Track and report KPIs related to job completion speed and financing approvals.
- Collaborate with data teams to refine reporting and support process improvements.
- Manage analytics platforms to generate insights for internal and external diagnostics.
Requirements
- Five years of experience in a technical or construction-based solar role.
- Three years of experience developing and operationalizing programs and corresponding Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Proven experience in developing analytics and partnering with technology enablement teams.
- Expert oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence third parties.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
