Job Description
The Major Accounts Manager, HVAC Heat Pump and Home Electrification, is responsible for developing and managing strategic growth channels and partnerships within the residential HVAC industry to promote sustainable home energy solutions and drive business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strategic growth channels with national platforms, software providers, and OEMs in the HVAC segment.
- Build and maintain relationships with major residential accounts such as builders, developers, property managers, and contractor groups.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and service agreements to foster long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution, high customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement of partner support tools.
- Gather field feedback to inform platform enhancements and partner enablement resources.
- Serve as the primary contact for major account inquiries, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
- Stay informed on HVAC technologies and market trends to develop strategic growth plans.
- Conduct regular account reviews and identify new growth opportunities within existing accounts.
- Represent the company at trade events, builder meetings, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of strategic account experience in the HVAC Segment.
- Demonstrable entrepreneurial mindset, and flexible approach to problem solving.
- Experience developing strategic GTM plans, and engagement and influence of senior stakeholders.
- Extensive network across the HVAC ecosystem.
- Strong presentation, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% regionally and nationally.
