Job Description
The Major Accounts Manager, HVAC Heat Pump and Home Electrification, is responsible for developing and managing strategic growth channels and partnerships within the residential HVAC and home energy sectors, focusing on expanding market presence and driving sales through tailored solutions and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow relationships with major residential accounts, including builders, developers, property managers, OEMs, and contractor groups.
- Create tailored growth strategies and solutions to meet account needs and ensure repeatable sales processes.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and service agreements to foster long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution, high customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement of partner support tools.
- Gather feedback from the field to inform platform enhancements and partner enablement resources.
- Serve as the primary contact for major account inquiries, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
- Stay informed on HVAC market trends and technologies to develop strategic growth plans.
- Conduct regular account reviews and performance evaluations to identify new growth opportunities.
- Represent the company at trade events, builder meetings, and networking functions to strengthen relationships and brand visibility.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of strategic account experience in the HVAC Segment.
- Demonstrable entrepreneurial mindset, and flexible approach to problem solving.
- Experience developing strategic GTM plans, and engagement and influence of senior stakeholders.
- Extensive network across the HVAC ecosystem.
- Strong presentation, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% regionally and nationally.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
