Job Description
The FP&A Manager will oversee financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for Palmetto's Direct-to-Consumer business segment, partnering with leadership to support growth initiatives, optimize pricing and customer acquisition strategies, and improve financial processes in a fast-paced, innovative clean tech company.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full scope of FP&A processes for the Direct-to-Consumer business, including annual planning and monthly re-forecasting.
- Conduct monthly reviews of actuals versus plan and perform cash flow forecasting analysis.
- Act as a strategic partner to leadership, providing insights to inform decision-making on pricing, customer acquisition costs, and growth initiatives.
- Build financial models to support forecasting, scenario analysis, and performance evaluation.
- Evaluate consumer pricing, unit economics, margin improvement opportunities, and growth strategies.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline reporting, improve accuracy, and reduce cycle times.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
- 2-5 years FP A experience, with demonstrated ownership of forecasts, models, and performance reporting
- Strong financial modeling skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills with deep understanding of the macroeconomic landscape
- Proactively identifies improvement opportunities across systems and processes, and implements solutions and updates them
- Highly motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced customer-centric environment where priorities may change quickly
- Collaborates seamlessly with internal teams
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present to varying audiences and leaders
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities
