Job Description
The Account Operations Specialist is responsible for managing customer accounts and partner financial inquiries, ensuring accurate financial processing, and improving operational efficiency within a clean energy company's financial and partner support teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and track aging customer accounts to ensure timely resolution
- Analyze aging reports to identify trends or discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal teams to address overdue accounts and improve operational efficiency
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce outstanding account timelines
- Prepare reports and updates for senior management on pipeline status
- Support partner accounting inquiries by investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Assist partners with understanding financial statements, billing issues, and payment processes
- Maintain accurate documentation of partner interactions and resolutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of experience in account operations, financial management, or a similar role
- Proficiency in Excel, and data analysis tools and or financial reporting systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
