The Account Operations Specialist will manage customer accounts and support partner accounting inquiries to ensure accurate financial processing, while collaborating with various teams to improve operational efficiency within a clean tech company's financial and partner management functions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and track aging customer accounts to ensure timely resolution
Analyze aging reports to identify trends or discrepancies
Collaborate with accounting, finance, sales, and customer success teams to address overdue accounts
Develop and implement strategies to reduce outstanding account timelines
Prepare reports and updates on pipeline status for senior management
Support partner accounting inquiries by investigating and resolving discrepancies
Assist partners with understanding financial statements, billing issues, and payment processes
Maintain accurate documentation of partner interactions and resolutions
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
At least 3 years of experience in account operations, financial management, or a similar role
Proficiency in Excel, and data analysis tools and/or financial reporting systems
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
