Job Description
The Vehicle Operations Controller is responsible for coordinating vehicle repairs, supporting drivers, and managing fleet operations to ensure efficient vehicle recovery and maintain a high-quality customer experience in the electric car leasing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with dealerships, manufacturers, and repair partners to ensure vehicle repairs stay on track
- Support drivers by managing vehicle issues and ensuring timely resolution
- Monitor and control fleet costs related to vehicle repairs and management
- Work closely with Vehicle Operations Specialists to ensure repair progress and support for drivers
- Coordinate hiring and management of hire vehicles
- Communicate proactively with drivers and partners to ensure cases are progressed and escalated when necessary
- Handle vehicle incident cases such as collisions, breakdowns, or faults to ensure smooth resolution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners to resolve issues efficiently
Requirements
- Experience in coordinating vehicle repairs, managing vehicle hire, and supporting drivers in a fleet management environment.
- Ability to work closely with Vehicle Operations Specialists, dealerships, manufacturers, and repair partners to ensure repairs stay on track and progress efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and proactive approach to managing multiple cases and escalations.
- Excellent communication skills to confidently interact with drivers and partners, ensuring cases are progressed and escalated when required.
- Ability to support and support drivers through vehicle incident recovery processes such as collisions, breakdowns, or unexpected vehicle faults.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver professional and smooth resolution of vehicle-related incidents with genuine care, restoring driver confidence and strengthening partnerships.
- Willingness to work one day per month in our London office.
- Experience or ability to bring clarity, direction, and momentum during vehicle incident resolution processes.
- Ability to build strong, accountable relationships with partners to ensure issues are resolved properly and efficiently.
- Understanding of fleet operations, vehicle repair processes, and incident management.
