Job Description
A Smart Meter Engineer responsible for installing and demonstrating smart meters to customers, providing energy-saving advice, and ensuring excellent customer service as part of the Octopus Energy Services team, supporting the global renewable energy mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Install smart meters and in-home displays in customer homes
- Explain how meters and displays work to customers and demonstrate energy-saving features
- Answer customer questions related to smart meters and the green energy revolution
- Ensure safety and customer service excellence during installations
Requirements
- Experience as a smart meter engineer with a track record of safety and customer excellence.
- Ability to represent the company's brands in customers' homes and communicate effectively with customers.
- Willingness to perform meter fitting installations and demonstrate how meters and in-home displays work to customers.
- Capability to explain how in-home displays can help customers save energy and answer questions related to the green energy revolution.
