Job Description
This role involves leading interior design projects for a large healthcare facility, overseeing all phases from concept to construction, coordinating with clients and multidisciplinary teams, and providing design leadership and mentorship within the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and engage with clients and project teams to deliver interior design services for healthcare facilities.
- Establish project goals and vision, and provide leadership across multiple projects.
- Develop and coordinate interior design concepts, ensuring code compliance and integration with other disciplines.
- Oversee design development, visualization, and documentation of interior spaces.
- Manage project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation for interior design components.
- Lead the development and specification of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE).
- Participate in construction administration activities, including site visits, review of submittals, and punch list completion.
- Mentor and lead interior design staff, fostering design leadership and collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture
- A minimum of 8 years of related experience in interior design or architecture
- Current NCIDQ certification is preferred
- Ability to provide interior design leadership across multiple projects
- Strong design, storytelling, and technical skills, including knowledge of building and life safety codes
- Exceptional presentation, organizational, team building, collaboration, and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience leading a high-performing team is preferred
- Ability to perform work with a high degree of latitude, including some ambiguity in work
- Travel as required
- Professional business attire for client meetings, including suits, ties, collared dress shirts, dresses, or skirts

Salary range of $81,955.00 - $102,398.00 annually
