A Quantitative Risk Analyst at Octopus Energy will develop and implement sophisticated quantitative models to assess and manage energy market risks, collaborating with international teams to support the company's transition to a cleaner, smarter energy future.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sophisticated quantitative models for energy market risk.
- Collaborate with international trading teams, forecasting, data analysts, and engineers to shape the risk function.
- Support the global energy markets team in managing electricity and gas supply risks and grid support.
Requirements
- Developing and implementing sophisticated quantitative models related to energy market risk.
- Working closely with the Head of Group Market Risk and collaborating with international trading teams, forecasting, data analysts, and engineers.
- Possessing the ability to navigate complexity with ease in a fast-paced environment.
