The Procurement Lead is responsible for sourcing low-carbon technologies at scale, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely, cost-effective procurement to support the company's growth and energy transition initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Source low-carbon technologies at scale, including heat pumps, EV chargers, solar, batteries, and related hardware.
Manage a defined portfolio of suppliers and categories, overseeing day-to-day sourcing activities.
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure reliability and competitiveness.
Act as a key link between internal teams and external suppliers to support growth and installation workflows.
Ensure procurement outcomes support project timelines, cost efficiency, and supply chain resilience.
Requirements
Experience supporting procurement activities for low-carbon technologies such as heat pumps, EV chargers, solar, batteries, and related hardware.
Ability to own a defined portfolio of suppliers and categories with responsibility for day-to-day sourcing and supplier performance management.
High degree of autonomy to manage procurement tasks independently and deliver results at pace.
Ability to work independently and maintain urgency across tight timescales in a hybrid-remote working environment.
Willingness and ability to travel within the UK for internal meetings and supplier visits, predominantly in London and the Midlands.
Experience in supporting procurement outcomes that support growth, keep installations moving, deliver competitively priced hardware, and build a resilient, reliable supply base.
