Job Description

The Portfolio ESG Analyst is responsible for supporting responsible investment practices by managing ESG risks, advancing sustainability goals, and overseeing ESG reporting for renewable energy assets within a dynamic team focused on driving the global renewable energy transition.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and manage ESG risks across operational and construction-stage assets
Ensure sustainability and impact goals are consistently advanced
Own and oversee ESG reporting for select funds
Support stewardship and engagement activities with portfolio companies and asset managers

Requirements

A passionate and analytical ESG professional with experience in data-led approaches to ESG and sustainable finance.
Ability to work closely with Asset Management and Fund Management teams across operational and construction-stage assets.
Experience in ensuring ESG risks are well managed and sustainability and impact goals are consistently advanced.
Ability to take ownership of ESG reporting for select funds.
Experience supporting stewardship and engagement activities with underlying portfolio companies and asset managers.
Proficiency in ESG reporting and data analysis related to renewable energy assets such as onshore wind, solar, energy transition infrastructure, and climate tech.
Strong communication skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Ability to work in a highly visible role with the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities.
Availability to participate in a process that typically takes up to 4 weeks, with flexibility to accommodate individual needs.
