Job Description
A Junior Fund Asset Manager role focused on supporting the performance, optimization, and management of a portfolio of renewable energy assets, primarily Battery Energy Storage Systems, through hands-on analysis and issue resolution, with opportunities to develop full asset accountability over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the performance and optimization of renewable energy assets, primarily Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
- Develop an understanding of asset performance drivers, commercial structures, and fund priorities.
- Take ownership of workstreams related to performance analysis, issue management, and optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with Fund Asset Managers, Asset Management teams, and central functions to ensure asset performance.
Requirements
- Support the performance and optimisation of a portfolio of renewable energy assets, with a primary focus on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), alongside exposure to other technologies.
- Develop a strong understanding of asset performance drivers, commercial structures, and fund priorities through close collaboration with Fund Asset Managers, Asset Management teams, and central functions.
- Take ownership of defined workstreams across performance analysis, issue management, and optimisation initiatives.
- Build towards full asset accountability over time.
- Be based in London with a requirement to work at least three days per week in the office, with some flexibility for remote working.
- Support the performance and optimisation of renewable energy assets as part of a team, reporting to a Fund Asset Manager.
