The Investment Manager role in Tokyo involves sourcing, evaluating, and managing renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, and energy storage assets, supporting the company's expansion in Asia and contributing to the global renewable energy revolution.
Key Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and execute renewable energy investment deals in solar, wind, energy storage, and other energy transition assets.
Manage and oversee a portfolio of utility-scale renewable energy assets across multiple countries.
Conduct due diligence and financial analysis for potential investments and project acquisitions.
Support the development and execution of regional investment strategies in Asia.
Coordinate with project teams, stakeholders, and partners to ensure successful project development and operation.
Requirements
Experience working on deals in solar, wind onshore offshore, energy storage, and other energy transition asset management.
Proven track record in sourcing, investing in, and managing utility-scale renewable energy assets.
Experience in managing a portfolio of renewable energy assets, including wind farms, solar power plants, energy storage, and hydrogen projects.
Experience working on mandates involving projects in multiple countries, specifically in Asia, with a focus on expanding investment in the region.
Ability to support the long-term ownership of energy assets through asset management and deal execution.
Demonstrated experience working in a fast-growing team environment, preferably based out of Tokyo.
